Groundation returns with "CANDLE BURNING," their 11th studio album, recorded on analog tape at the legendary ICP studios in Brussels. Addressing themes of spiritual fire, inner strength, and connection, the album delivers a message of hope and vitality rather than struggle. Featuring iconic guest artists like Alpha Blondy, Mutabaruka, Thomas Mapfumo, and Mykal Rose, the project bridges generations and cultures, offering a rich and soulful roots reggae experience. Recorded during an immersive 10-day session, the album showcases Groundation's characteristic blend of roots reggae with jazz-inspired melodies, deep rhythms, and conscious lyrics, true to their commitment to authenticity and powerful storytelling.
