Third album by Muse, "Absolution" confirms the potential of Matthew Bellamy's band, considered essential to any modern rock record collection. With original song structures, retaining only the best of progressive rock - stripped of solos - "Absolution" brings a true identity to Muse and sounds like the best of the genre. If you had to choose just one from the trio's early period, this would be it, the very essence of the Muse style.
