Second album of the Lou Reed Archive series, after Words & Music, May 1965, nominated several times for the Grammy®.
The last solo album by Lou Reed finally available, for the first time on vinyl; includes a 20-page book (LP) and a 40-page book (CD) featuring never-before-seen photographs of Lou, an interview with Laurie Anderson and Jonathan Cott, an essay by Eddie Stern, and archival interviews with Lou and Hal Willner.
The last solo album by Lou Reed, Hudson River Wind Meditations, is one of his most personal musical works, combining Reed's love for drone music with his passion for Tai Chi, yoga, and meditation. The ambient soundscapes of the album have been described as a counterpoint to the intense album Metal Machine Music, but both share a taste for exploration in drone music and the harmonics created by feedback. It is for a certain moment and a certain state of mind.
