Iconic leader of the legendary Velvet Underground, Lou Reed begins a solo career that will confirm the artist's influence on the history of rock. The second album from the master, Transformer, was recorded in 1972 in England and features the presence of the very prolific David Bowie for production. This album will be propelled by the impact of cult tracks like "Perfect Day," "Satellite of Love," but especially the unstoppable "Walk on the Wild Side," which will accompany the artist throughout his career. - ("excerpt from the Discothèque Idéale Fnac guide")
