THE THIRD STUDIO ALBUM OF THE RAP MUSETTE SENSATION FOR THE FIRST TIME ON VINYL! The legendary French group, a pioneer of rap musette, Java released their third and final studio album Maudits Français in 2009. Java was born in 1998 from the meeting of two Parisians, composer François-Xavier Bossard known as Fixi (Tony Allen, Winston McAnuff, Alexis HK) and author Erwan Seguillon (R.Wan, Soviet Suprem), who wanted to invent a new genre. A trained keyboardist, Fixi took up the accordion and used samples from old musette vinyl records while R.Wan developed a unique universe. From the first demos, they were joined by Jérôme Boivin known as Pépouse Man on bass and Alexis Bossard known as Bistrol Banto on drums. Together they released their first album Hawai in 2000, followed by the live album Java sur Seine in 2001, and then a second album partially recorded in Brazil, Safari Croisière, in 2003. They tirelessly toured venues and festivals across France and the world. A true live phenomenon, the group delivers a high-energy cocktail blending French chanson, rap, world music, rock, jazz, and funk. In 2008, Java returned to the studio under the guidance of producer and multi-instrumentalist K-Mille and created Maudits Français, a new album mixed by Jean Lamoot. More than ten years after its release, the album is finally reissued for the very first time on vinyl. Double vinyl with a gatefold sleeve.
