Emerging from the rich cultural landscape of their Wabanaki homeland in New Brunswick, the Hello Crows form a powerful Indigenous collective whose songs and stories are woven from personal experiences, resilience, and a deep connection to their communities and culture. The group's journey began in 2022, when its members (Judie Acquin, Quinn Bonnell, Mattie Comeau, and Dylan Ward), each an artist in their own right, performed together for the first time during a Wabanaki songwriter circle. This chance encounter, which highlighted their poignant narratives while blending traditional and contemporary influences, is considered the catalyst for their creative union.
