To write Contemporary Movement (2000), the second album by Duster, all the band members were involved, unlike Stratosphere which was mostly composed by Clay Parton and Canaan Dove. A slow drift into emptiness punctuated by reverb, Contemporary Movement is a brutalist masterpiece.
