Initially signed to Sub Pop, DAMIEN JURADO has been one of the pillars of Seattle’s indie scene since 1997. In 2003, he moved to Secretly Canadian and offered us poetic indie/folk albums about the lives of characters from his imagination, notably with the very ethereal And Now that I'm in Your Shadow. With Caught In The Trees, DAMIEN JURADO opens up fully to his listeners for the first time and shares moments of laughter and introspection, in the footsteps of songwriters such as NICK DRAKE or NEIL YOUNG. Blended with pop and americana, the 13 intimate two-voice ballads will delight fans of JASON MOLINA, PEDRO THE LION or even The Great Destroyer by LOW.
