Stitches, the eleventh album from Illinois indie-rock stalwarts CALIFONE, finds Tim Rutili and his band at the peak of their powers. Rooted in the purest North American musical tradition, tinged with blues, soothing folk, Americana, and bluegrass, Stitches is an album that simply feels good. The band even undertook a musical road trip from Los Angeles to Austin to record incredible noises and sounds, imbuing the album with a unique texture.
