Intégrale des études Tableaux

Description

Zlata tells us about her new album: "For my third album on Piano Classics I have chosen to perform the complete Etudes-tableaux by Rachmaninov, music that is close to my heart. It is a great privilege to be able to experience these worlds that the Etudes Tableaux present, with all their emotional poetry, romantic beauty, painful tragedy, darkness and light, and boundless love for Russia. Zlata Chochieva’s discography includes two CDs on the Piano Classics label. Her recording of Rachmaninov’s Variations on a Theme of Chopin and the First Sonata received an excellent reception in several prestigious classical music magazines including "Gramophone", "FonoForum" (5 stars) and "Piano News". Her recent disc of the complete Chopin Etudes on the same label was nominated for the German Record Critics’ Award (Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik) and was nominated as Editor’s Choice in the famous English magazine Gramophone.
