Franck Tortiller, Yves Rousseau, Bojan Z, Louis Winsberg, Andy Sheppard, Thomas de Pourquery, Airelle Besson, Anne Paceo, Théo Ceccaldi & Fidel Fourneyron. Ten names whose musical universe has resonated in the most diverse places of Coutances, from the prison to the Marcel-Hélie hall, including concerts at people's homes. Ten musicians who have left their mark on the festival with their total commitment, both artistically and humanly… The 40th edition of Jazz sous les pommiers could not be celebrated without them! For the occasion, each of the residents arranged one of their compositions to be played by the full group.
On August 26, 2021, at the Marcel-Hélie hall, this event concert left a mark on the audience, professionals, journalists, as well as the festival team and the residents themselves! It was then obvious to record these ten pieces and produce a double album.
