From Cuban music to film music, including Balkan music and jazz, this instrumental work offers a wide variety of sounds and sources of inspiration that blend with reggae. Youthie can be found on composition, trumpet, flute, accordion, and vocals, while Macca Dread interprets the riddims, drawing inspiration from the roots and rocksteady dynamics of the 70s. Sista Clara plays the violin, along with guests on brass, oud, and percussion! The first part, Balyankas, showcases Latin and Balkan influences: trumpet with Cuban accents, gypsy melodies, and even a wild tango tune! The second disc, "Into the Vibes," is quite unique. Each track is narrative and transports you to a particular universe, which will appeal to cinema lovers!
