Autumn Song

Description

Le jeu du pianist Youri Egorov was unique, without affectation and characterized by total integrity coupled with an inner poetry rarely heard.
He was the perfect example of the musician who lived in the service of the music he played.
His playing was diaphanous and refined and he put his immense technique to the sole benefit of his vision of the works.
Sometimes his risk-taking during a concert meant that he would sometimes lose his way but his interpretations were never called into question. That is why he was compared to another flash of brilliance in the musical landscape, the legendary Dinu Lipatti, who also died in his thirties.
