Yaniss Odua has just celebrated his 20-year career: a multi-talented artist who began performing on stage at the age of 12, he has, since 2002 and the release of his album «Yon pa Yon» (Sekel/ SonyMusic), unanimously praised by critics, taken part in the adventure of the label Legalize Hits, on which he will release the project «High Tunes», nominated for the Trophées des Arts Afro-Caribéens, and «Hit 2 Hits» which won the trophy for Best Album of the Year 2008 at the Victoires du Reggae. A true showman, he has already given more than 800 concerts and has been touring relentlessly since the beginning of his career, winning over the French-speaking reggae audience but also a wider audience, as shown by the duets he has regularly recorded with artists of the stature of Tiken Jah Fakoly, Ky-Mani Marley or even Don Choa of the Fonky Family. His Moment Idéal Tour is a real success and after more than sixty dates in 2013, he continues this year with the biggest festivals and a major tour at the end of the year with his friends from Danakil. He will perform on stage his now classic tracks such as «La Caraibe», «Une Larme», «Mal Au Coeur» and the tracks from his new album produced alongside the legendary Clive Hunt (Jimmy Cliff, Alpha Blondy, Rolling Stones, Grace Jones, Khaled.). There is no doubt, YaniSs Odua is the French artist to watch for this year 2014.
