After their adventures in the 80s and 90s (Paga Group), Bernard Paganotti and Bertrand Lajudie have reunited to develop a new recording project. Titled "Ondes," this album of electric and organic instrumental music was born from their desire to work collectively. Accompanied by drummer Antoine Paganotti, the bassist and keyboardist started from trio improvisations, exploring different atmospheres and rhythmic ideas to discover inspiring formulas. Through this collaborative process, musical cells emerged, giving rise to distinct pieces after meticulous shaping and development. Each track on the album is structured in several sections, highlighting the importance of collective playing and interaction, with the solo parts, although brief, integrating harmoniously into the whole. Initially recorded in trio and live, the pieces were then enriched with various sound elements (keyboards, woodwinds, guitars, and programming) adding color and depth to the raw material captured in the moment. "Ondes" thus represents the fruit of this unprecedented work placing synergy at the heart of musical creation.
