It has now been twelve years since David Eugene Edwards has been performing under the name Wovenhand (originally Woven Hand), while his other major band 16 Horsepower, still active at the time, seemed difficult to sustain due to the distance between its members. Since then, DEE has stepped out of the shadow of 16 Horsepower, thanks to 7 increasingly accomplished albums that have earned him a solid fan base today. Between neo-folk, post-rock, punk, alt. country, and alternative music, Wovenhand's songs are undeniably inhabited by the unparalleled charisma of its leader.
