The Manchester quartet Working Men’s Club is back! Endorsed by Baxter Dury and Fat White Family, the band made a mark in 2020 with a stunning self-titled debut album, a explosive cocktail of abrasive punk rock infused with acid house inherited from the Factory. They return with a highly anticipated second album titled: Fear Fear – an event to be released on July 15 via Heavenly Recordings/[PIAS]. The tracks of this new project were nurtured during the pandemic and fueled by the feelings of rage and isolation that ensued. Fear Fear is an album that takes us straight back to the best hours of the Hacienda in Manchester, made to move, to dance, and once again creates a unique bridge between two musical worlds: electro and psych indie.
