Tuomas Saukkonen, composer, multi-instrumentalist, a true one-man metal scene, is the mastermind behind bands like Dawn Of Solace, Black Sun Aeon, RoutaSielu and many others. Saukkonen is the kind of artist you could give a rock, or a piece of drainage pipe, and then realize he manages to compose a song with those tools. The artist, with his band Wolfheart, returns with "Shadow World", their second album. A true team effort, all band members participated in the writing and composition. A complex balance between wild riffs and folk metal melodies, combined with Saukkonen's ferocious growls. The result is a brutality unique to black doom metal.
