Soprano (and also ukulele player) Agathe Peyrat and accordionist (also singer) Pierre Cussac form a unique duo, free and open to genre blending. In this program, they reinterpret the classical repertoire "through the prism" of their approach, "that is to say, by turning it into song, through a journey woven between night and day" thanks to their custom arrangements. We discover a very surprising version of Mozart's Queen of the Night, melodies and arias from operas by Debussy, Bizet, Saint-Saëns, Puccini, Delibes, Wagner reflected alongside songs by Maurice Yvain, Charles Trenet, André Minvielle, or Brigitte Fontaine, performed by the two artists who play with all the nuances between black and white, darkness and light: "The light of this album is also the great joy we have in playing together, which we love to share."
