Bear Rinehart unveiled Wilder Woods in 2019, releasing a neo-soul album focused on new beginnings: the arrival of fatherhood, the launch of his solo career, and the updating of the brand image of a long-time bandleader who decided to expand his reach. With FEVER / SKY, he broadens the cinematic sound of Wilder Woods while celebrating the parts of himself that he is most proud of. It’s a personal and poignant album whose songs do not focus on the horizon ahead, but on the road itself, stacked with heartfelt hooks, western madness, southern soul, and festival-worthy anthems. "I've been part of a band for 20 years, and a band is a democracy where you make decisions together," explains Rinehart, who also leads the Grammy-nominated and chart-topping band NEEDTOBREATHE.
