Each year, the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra takes up its spring residence during a free outdoor concert in the blooming gardens of the Schönbrunn Palace; this year, the event will take place on May 14. This 2015 concert is conducted by Zubin Mehta, and the soloist is Rudolf Buchbinder (piano). It is a unique experience for all Viennese, but also for the thousands of tourists who visit one of the most beautiful capitals in Europe with its baroque gardens, listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. Since 2008, the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra has provided a unique experience to all its Schönbrunn spectators, with extraordinary conductors such as Gustavo Dudamel, Valery Gergiev, Daniel Barenboim, and George Prêtre at the helm. This year, we have the immense Zubin Mehta, who offered us one of the most beautiful New Year's Concerts last January and who still remains in our memories, that of the first Three Tenors Concert in Rome in 1990.
