This box set offers 6 Whitesnake concerts on 8 CDs. Vigorous live performances!
CD1: the concert LIVE... IN THE STILL OF THE NIGHT, on which David Coverdale is accompanied by Doug Aldrich and Reb Beach on lead guitar, and also Tommy Aldridge and Marco Mendoza on drums and bass. Recorded at the Hammersmith Apollo in 2004, this Live contains versions of the hits "Is This Love", "Here I Go Again" and "Still Of The Night".
CD2 and CD3: LIVE... IN THE SHADOW OF THE BLUES, from their 2006 world tour, where Whitesnake revisited their early years with live versions of "Don't Break My Heart Again" and "Take Me With You".
CD4 and CD5: MADE IN JAPAN, a testament to their flawless performance in 2011 as headliners of the Loud Park festival, including acoustic interpretations of "One Of These Days", "Good To Be Bad" and "Tell Me How".
CD6: MADE IN BRITAIN, also recorded in 2011, on David Coverdale's home turf. The band was then on stage for the "Forevermore Tour".
CD7 with the Live THE WORLD TOUR is the follow-up, still in 2011 abroad, including versions of "The Deeper The Love" and "Can You Hear The Wind Blow", presented at the time as a brand new song, which would become one of their favorites on stage.
Finally, CD8 rounds off this box set with THE PURPLE TOUR LIVE. With lead guitarist Joel Hoekstra, Whitesnake revisits Coverdale's early exploits with Deep Purple, including versions of "Burn", "The Gypsy", "Mistreated" and "Soldier Of Fortune".
