On March 29, Whitechapel will release their 7th studio album, "The Valley," via Metal Blade Records. Mixed by David Castillo, mastered by Ted Jensen, and once again produced by Mark Lewis (Cannibal Corpse, The Black Dahlia Murder), "The Valley" refers to Hardin Valley (Knoxville, Texas), where singer Phil Bozeman grew up. Guitarist Alex Wade speaks about the recording experience, saying, "Phil was very direct in writing the lyrics and didn't hesitate to talk about the difficult moments of his childhood; I believe that through this album, we have changed his perspective." Anyone listening to "The Valley" for the first time will recognize Whitechapel's identity through powerful, aggressive, and emotionally charged instrumentals.
