De Martin Mendez, bassist of the Prog Metal masters OPETH, is born WHITE STONES, a solo project that quickly became much more. 'Kuarahy' (pronounced Kwa-Ra-Hee) represents a return to the roots, both familial in Uruguay and musical - exploring the forgotten paths of his ancestors through the style of music that remains his only true love - Death Metal. The album was recorded with a Fender Stratocaster with just a little bit of distortion - which is rare for Death Metal.
