Description

This third album by Weezer almost never saw the light of day. After "Pinkerton," Rivers Cuomo's band thought they had said it all and saw no point in continuing the adventure. Five years later, Weezer was resurrected, intact, true to its pop-punk principles, firmly following in the footsteps of the Undertones, Buzzcocks, Ramones, and Pixies. This "Green Album" is therefore one of those old-school records, short, packed into ten songs of a maximum of three minutes.
On these pure pop-punk standards, rock regains the freshness of its roots: a main theme, basic melodies, a verse/chorus structure crossed throughout by guitars brimming with vitamins. Music for kids, timeless.
