The New York duo We Are Scientists are back with Qualifying Miles, their 9th studio album, due on July 18 on Grönland Records. For the first time since their beginnings, the band is entrusting the worldwide release to a single label. With a stripped-back “live in studio” aesthetic, this new album pays tribute to the 90s rock that shaped their youth. Without having planned it, the tracks all share the same melancholic hue, between gentle nostalgia and a look back at the past. A major international tour will accompany the release, kicking off in Europe at the end of April, with festivals this summer, then North America in the fall.
