Battle scars Limited Edition

Description

13 energetic and joyful tracks that tell the story of Walter Trout’s long and difficult victorious battle against his illness, up to the transplant of a new liver. A terrible ordeal that ultimately gives us a record full of hope, where even the dark passages are covered with exhilarating creativity and virtuosity. Over nearly five decades now, Trout has collected many awards thanks to his unique style as a guitarist: twice Foreign Artist of the Year at the British Blues Awards, and nominated three times at the Blues Music Awards, and he also comes in 6th in the BBC’s ranking of the 20 best guitarists, just behind Brian May of Queen. Battele Scars was recorded by Eric Corne, Walter Trout’s longtime producer, in Los Angeles at Kingsize Soundlabs studios with his band: Sammy Avila on keyboards, Michael Leasure on drums, and Johnny Griparic as the new bassist. The limited edition CD includes 2 bonus tracks.
