Volodia, a rising artist on the Hip-hop/Reggae scene, has been taking to the stage in venues across France for several years now, solo or with his collective Phases Cachées. These various appearances, from café concerts to the biggest venues in France (3 Olympias opening for Sinsémilia and Danakil, Zénith de Paris, Zénith de Rouen, Divan du Monde etc.) have allowed him to gain solid stage experience and forge a strong identity that leaves no one indifferent.
« Un Pied sur Terre » marks a turning point in his career. It is the long-awaited moment for Volodia’s many fans: the release of his first album, bringing together his « classics » and his new songs! The ultra-polished and ambitious production of this opus brought together several renowned beatmakers. Tom Fire, Fatbabs (Naâman), Massive B (Danakil), Dubmatix, S.O.A.P were thus able to leave their sonic imprint and allow Volodia to bring to light an eclectic, powerful and modern album.
Many hosts from the current reggae scene are also taking part in the project! Volodia has succeeded in bringing together the cream of the crop of today’s MCs by calling on the Martinican Yaniss Odua, the Hip-Hop reggae MC Kenyon, Danakil singer Natty Jean, and the highly exposed Naâman!
It has not yet been released but it is already unanimously acclaimed, so strong is the anticipation! This album should bring together the singer’s old and new fans and position Volodia as a benchmark in terms of songwriting, like a builder of original and impactful melodies.
