Unique figure in French rap for its very literary and depressive side, Vîrus, whom we recently followed in the Asocial Club alongside Casey, returns with this double EP. Luxurious packaging, double CD, 20-page booklet with lyrics and experimental photos. Since 2010, VÎRUS has continued to make headlines since the release of his trilogy of calendar EPs "Le choix dans la date". This project has established VÎRUS among the most atypical and recognized voices in hexagonal rap, Rue 89 was not mistaken in calling it album of the year. His rap reflects his writing: complex, dark, playful, human. VÎRUS is that oxymoron that lies dormant in each of us, and that’s what he tells us when he claims to make "depressive egotrip". Last year, he clashed with the acid pens of CASEY, AL, and PRODIGE on their joint project ASOCIAL CLUB and the release of the album "Toute entrée est définitive" described by Les Inrocks as a masterstroke. This experience with ASOCIAL CLUB allowed him to solidify and develop his style. This opus ended with the track "Creuser," which also invited another lyricist, ROCÉ. Creuser is exactly what VÎRUS continues to do with this new project "Faire-Part / Huis-Clos". Always accompanied by his beatmaker Banane, the Haut-Normand rapper takes a new step in 2015. This project, conceived as a diptych started in 2013, drives the nail in a little deeper. A rusty nail that seals our gaping wounds at the risk of catching tetanus.
