Formed in 2002 in Brasília, Violator has established itself as one of the major representatives of the new generation of old-school thrash metal. Influenced by the legacy of Brazilian pioneers such as Sepultura and Korzus, as well as the American tradition embodied by Exodus, the band develops a blazing style that combines aggression, sharp riffs, and crossover energy. Their first true professional recording, the EP Violent Mosh, released in 2004 via Kill Again Records, already captures the band's onstage intensity and paves the way for the explosive debut album Chemical Assault. With Annihilation Process (2010), the band asserts an even stronger identity, before reaching a new peak with their second album Scenarios of Brutality (2013), a true demonstration of modern thrash with a resolutely classic spirit. Today, High Roller Records compiles and reissues these essential releases on vinyl, giving fans the opportunity to rediscover four major milestones in Violator's discography — raw, intense recordings that have become essential for all thrash metal enthusiasts.
