Dying to live, living to die

Description

The new studio album from the most aggressive of all punk-hardcore bands, led by Chris Reifert of Autopsy. Continuing from 'With Man in Charge' released last year, Chris Reifert, guitarist of Autopsy (and former Abcess) on guitars and vocals, alongside bassist Joe Orterry and drummer Matt O'Connell, delivers a new fierce attack of violent and biting Punk! Violation Wound was born in a basement soaked in beer and whiskey in June 2013, driven by the desire to create real punk rock. Violation Wound presents 'Dying to Live, Living to Die', a new 18-track album - a bold and mocking assault on the current instability of minds and societies around the world. The album was recorded at Hyde Street Studios in San Francisco, CA, in July 2019 by Sam Zuerner. The cover is once again created by the famous artist Wes Benscoter (Autopsy, Slayer, Nile), another stellar dark and morbid classic. Violation Wound is not interested in anything modern and safe, but rather in everything raw and dirty. This formidable Californian trio was formed in June 2013 in a basement soaked in beer and whiskey with a common goal: to create 100% real punk rock. There’s nothing trendy, nothing pretentious, just aggression that fuels the kick-ass riffs.
