Description
Rolando Villazón joins the early music ensemble L'Arpeggiata and its founder-director Christina Pluhar for an album inspired by Greek mythology. Entitled Orfeo son io (I am Orpheus), its program consists of excerpts from Monteverdi's Orfeo and operas by Gluck, Peri and Sartorio on the same theme, as well as songs by Carlos Gardel and Luis Bonfa.
