The producer, DJ, designer, and pioneering label director Vegyn - whose real name is Joseph Thornalley - releases his latest solo album "The Road To Hell Is Paved With Good Intentions" on his own label PLZ Make It Ruins. Vegyn recently graced the cover of Crack magazine, while The Observer, Dazed, Rolling Stone, The FACE, The FADER, Spin, Mixmag, Resident Advisor, and many others have shown their support.
The Road To Hell..." was born from a space of free experimentation. Often on the move as part of his work as a producer and label head, Thornalley wrote the new songs in studios, lounges, and hotel rooms around the world. The result is his most accomplished and cohesive work to date, featuring appearances from John Glacier, Matt Maltese, Léa Sen, Lauren Auder, and Ethan P. Flynn.
Vegyn's changing musical production as a solo artist has so far tended to fall into extremes: partly known for his excesses, he has worked tirelessly with some of the biggest rap and R&B artists in the world and has released mixtapes with over 70 tracks.
