The Vaurien project began very simply and spontaneously, continuing from what it produces graphically in parallel (illustrations, photography, collages, engravings, tattoos, etc.) under the name Vauräss Temor, also known as Enfant du néant. A rudimentary recording, a guitar over a drum machine, and some synth atmospheres or other experiments. The project has evolved (but not that much) and is mainly associated with a certain sphere of Black Metal, and it does not hide that fact. But it is still primarily guided by the desire to remain true to this naive vision of what underground music has represented for a totally desperate devotee, who has worshipped this magical, mysterious world from adolescence to today, and who has only known the sad city as a backdrop, whether alone or in a group. Stripped of any technical demonstration or display of virtuosity, Vaurien also draws a lot of inspiration from rock and punk in its many dirtiest forms, crust, post, d-beat, over-amplified or not, partially or even totally synthetic, etc. Labels ultimately have little meaning and importance.
