The legendary debut album by Vashti Bunyan, released in 1970, is repressed here on CD. Produced by Joe Boyd for Witchseason Productions and originally released on Philips in 1970, the album features Simon Nicol and Dave Swarbrick from Fairport Convention and Robin Williamson from The Incredible String Band. The songs mainly recount the events that took place when Vashti and her lover traveled to the Hebrides on horseback, in a cart, to join Donovan's artistic community, but when they arrived, that community had already left. This story was brilliantly told in Kieran Evans' film, Vashti Bunyan: From Here To Before, released in 2008.
