It’s happening again: the label Monkeytown presents the fourth volume of the electro compilation created by the members of the Berlin duo Modeselektor. A stylistic exercise around dance music, it includes tracks from Actress, Roxymore, and Sarah Farina. Recorded on double CD and 4x12', this compilation contains 17 tracks and reveals an ambitious aspect of current electronic music, at least from Modeselektor's perspective. However, their intuition rarely disappoints us. While Volume 3 was more "ambient," featuring tracks from To Rococo Rot and Fennesz, Volume 4 clearly aims to make us dance.
