Description
The mother tongue of a composer is the first music he hears; it is therefore what determines the sound "genetic heritage" of a musician. The founding father of Armenian classical music is Komitas Vardapet. This record is released in the year of the commemoration of the centenary of the 1915 genocide. The pieces that make up this recital can be lively, contemplative, tender, solemn, but they are very rarely dark, pathetic.
