In 2006, Van Canto surprised the Metal world with a revolutionary idea: to perform Metal music a cappella, accompanied only by a drummer. After 5 albums that were hits in Germany and sold-out tours, Van Canto is now opening a new chapter in its history: Vocal Metal Musical. For Voices Of Fire, the German band worked with writer Christoph Hardebusch, a specialist in Heroic Fantasy, who wrote a true novel to illustrate the songs of this album. To give an additional dimension to this ambitious project, Van Canto was able to count on the participation of the London Metro Voices, a choir notably known for appearing in blockbusters such as The Lord of the Rings, as well as the famous English actor John Rhys-Davies (Indiana Jones), the narrator throughout Voices Of Fire.
