Half-Life: Alyx (Official Game Soundtrack)

Valve and IPECAC RECORDINGS have been collaborating for nearly 15 years, since the release of the PORTAL 2 soundtracks. Since then, we have produced soundtracks for some of the most popular video games, such as TEAM FORTRESS 2, DOTA 2, and the entire HALF-LIFE series. These releases are among the best-selling physical and digital titles of the Ipecac label. HALF-LIFE: ALYX was initially released digitally in 11 chapters between 2020 and 2022. The physical edition brings these chapters together in two different formats: a fold-out 4 CD digipak containing all 72 tracks from the series, and a 180g double gatefold vinyl featuring 21 tracks selected by the composer, along with a download card for the 72 tracks. The vinyl has a different cover from the CD and includes a 61 x 91 cm fold-out poster. The standard version is black with orange splatter, while the version for independent stores is orange with black splatter. The game HALF-LIFE: ALYX has sold over 2 million copies since 2020 and joins the Half-Life series, which has surpassed 30 million copies sold.
