The Romanian countertenor Valer Sabadu, born in 1986, started music with the piano before moving to Munich in 1991 and taking his first singing lessons with Gabriele Fuchs. He quickly made a name for himself on stage and soon found himself on the biggest stages under the direction of essential conductors like Riccardo Muti. He then approached the baroque repertoire that would become his own and in which he would triumph: Jommelli, Vivaldi, Mozart, Hasse, Gluck. Valer Sabadu is not an unknown here as he has performed with resounding success in Nancy, in Atarserse by Vinci (under the direction of Diego Fasolis), and then in Aix en Provence in the opera by Cavalli, Elena.
