Description

Better than yesterday is Uzi’s mantra, the name he chose for his second album. He unleashes off-format tracks, like deadly weapons, a perfect synthesis of his huge musical culture and his ability to soften any hard-hitting lyric that hits the streets. For this album, Uzi decided to surround himself with artists who resemble him (Timal, ISK...): like him, they are carving their own path, with singularity, and no one expected them at the very top of the charts. This second opus confirms what 'Coeur abîmé' had begun: continuing to move away from a troubled past in order to move forward. It delivers a universal and positive message, reminding us that by working on their talent, everyone can become: Better than yesterday. We also find hitman Soolking on 'Famille', one of the album’s hits, melancholy as can be with its unstoppable production and a melodic line. There is another feat with Oboy, one of the rappers of his generation who is making waves without trumpets or fanfare and who, like him, excels just as much in hard rap as in more melodic rap.
