Ufomammut was formed in the late 90s by Italians Poia, Urlo, and Vita. Since Levre took over the drums in 2021, the band has experienced a renaissance that has materialized with the release of the album “Fenice” and “Crookhead EP”. In 25 years, the band has developed a unique sound that combines a cult of heavy riffs with a psychedelic sound, resulting in a cosmic, futuristic style that completely immerses listeners in a doom metal universe.
The band has produced 10 albums as well as various other releases, such as compilations, EPs, and live albums. In 2024, as it celebrates its quarter-century, the band is set to release its latest album, HIDDEN. This album marks a shift in the band's musical composition, aiming for a more intense and heavier sound, and it is the third album with Levre as the band's new drummer. The title, HIDDEN, reflects the concept of the presence of everything in our existence and the ability to bring to light what lies within us. With HIDDEN, Ufomammut embarks on a sonic journey that traverses vast expanses of space and time.
