Considered by many to be one of the best live albums of all time, Strangers in The Night showcases UFO at the peak of their career. The original double album was compiled from recordings made during six American shows in October 1978.
This 8 CD box set includes the 6 original complete concerts for the first time (including 5 previously unreleased) as well as a newly remastered version of the original album. Four of the concerts have been recently mixed from the original tapes.
The packaging consists of a two-part rigid sleeve, eight mini-vinyl sleeves, and a 24-page booklet containing new sleeve notes by Michael Hann, who interviewed Phil Mogg, Andy Parker, and Michael Schenker.
