For Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown, the best way to cooperate with a world plunged into turmoil was to produce new tracks. Easier said than done in lockdown, but the Nashville-based band rose to the challenge. ‘Pressure’, the fourth studio album, 13 tracks, including a re-recorded version of ‘Crazy Days’, as well as the presence of guests like Lovell (three tracks) and Charlie Starr from Blackberry Smoke (‘Holdin’ My Breath’). 'Crazy Days' is the first track to have been written and recorded, a howl at the moon - catchy, optimistic, and in tune with the times. It had to be shared with as many people as possible, and it didn't take long before the quarantine-made video created a buzz online. With a house full of equipment to record and play, as well as the presence of producer Roger Alan Nichols, the prospect of a 4-track EP was on the horizon. And why not 6 tracks? Like all bands, the Shakedown's live schedule was put on hold, the opportunity to write 30 to 40 new tracks and finally write an album.
