The Cage is the fourth studio album by the British heavy metal band Tygers of Pan Tang, released in 1982. It marked a step in a more commercial direction, selling over 200,000 copies and giving rise to two top 50 songs in the UK, namely the covers of "Love Potion No. 9" by Leiber & Stoller and the lesser-known song "Rendezvous." Another single reached number 63: the song "Paris by Air" by Steve Thompson. Shortly after the production of this album, the band split for the first time due to tensions with their record label. Robb Weir and Brian Dick then formed the band Sergeant. The album was produced by Peter Collins, who also produced for Gary Moore, Bon Jovi, Rush, Suicidal Tendencies, and many others.
