Description

In the spring of 2025, just as *Possession* was being released, Ty Segall began to hear voices, first calm, then quickly escalating to screams: "Get the band back together!!!" Immediately, his mind started to work, to create, to gather and organize riffs for songs, an album that he and the band — Ben Boye, Evan Burrows, Mikal Cronin, and Emmett Kelly — would all eventually call Chrome. The tracks feature massive riffs, fuzz and distortion lines that are balanced and impeccably orchestrated, duels between two guitars, pounding keyboards, a precise and deafening power, a rhythmic heart in motion, overflowing with the band's energy. The lyrics are allusive journeys, dark passages in a labyrinth, where everything in the air vibrates collectively, while minds collide.
