Drums Circle
Description
Tushen Raï, curator and insatiable digger, co-director of the HardFist Records label and programmer for Nuits Sonores, presents “Drums Circle,” his first solo EP on Cracki Records! A record deeply inspired by the Acid House of his guiding lights Andrew Weatherall and Optimo, built in the form of a collage, where Maori percussion sourced from field recording records from the 60s and 70s meets Indonesian chants taken from YouTube videos filmed on a phone. With “Drums Circle,” Tushen Raï delivers a versatile EP, where the organic sounds of the clarinet (performed by Baptiste André), Indian tablas and Brazilian Caxixi meet TB-30 acid basslines, auto-tuned vocals and synthetic TR-808 drums.Buy Drum Circle at the best price
