TUNGSTEN is preparing to unveil its fifth studio album titled "Ashes", scheduled for release on October 9 via Reigning Phoenix Music GmbH / Perception Label. Formed in 2016 by drummer Anders Johansson and his sons Nick and Karl Johansson, TUNGSTEN quickly solidified its lineup with the addition of lead singer Mike Andersson. Since then, the band has built a solid reputation on stage, touring extensively across Europe alongside artists such as Bloodbound, Firewind, Sonata Arctica, All For Metal and others. Between tours and live performances throughout 2025, Tungsten focused on writing new tracks for its upcoming album, aiming to create a powerful follow-up to "The Grand Inferno" released in 2024. Entering the studio in late 2025, the band recorded the tracks for "Ashes" and is now ready to unveil this new chapter.
