Sonata accademiche Edition intégrale

Description

Trio Settecento, “the exceptional early music ensemble based in Chicago” (Gramophone), presents the monumental opus 2 Sonate Accademiche for violin and continuo by the Italian Baroque composer Francesco Maria Veracini. It is a cosmopolitan collection of twelve sonatas of breathtaking scope and pan-European influences - a unique collection of Sonatas in its time. Veracini’s Sonate Accedemiche are both a tribute to his compatriot Arcangelo Corelli and an original masterpiece in their own right.
