20 years of eclectic, unique, rebellious music, always innovative. In the early 90s, reggae, dub, bhangra, rock, and Eastern music were labeled and separated styles. This compilation tells how a group of musicians, DJs, composers, and singers came together to innovate, mixing these different genres, pushing the first synthesizers and computers to their maximum capacity. TRANSGLOBAL UNDERGROUND was born from this movement. Driven by the incredible talent of lead singer Natacha Atlas, the group quickly found success, guiding her towards a brilliant solo career. However, they have never stopped collaborating to maintain this vision of music that breaks boundaries and retains such a unique sound, still relevant even 20 years later.
